All roads led to Norwich on Saturday 15th October 2016, as the 2nd Annual ‘Fashion Mixer UK’ charity fundraiser took place with a huge bang. Norwich based founder Caroline Akorita hosted over 100 guests at the prestigous Sprowston Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
This year, FashionMixer’s chosen charity was the‘Girl Child Network Worldwide’ which was founded by the keynote speaker on the night Muzvare Princess Betty Makoni – 2009 CNN Hero.
Also speaking on the night was author, HIV survivor Evangelist Elizabeth Kolonga and the youngest speaker of the night Lee Bickinessi of GCNW. The evening was hosted by Sam Onigbanjo & Seye Aina.
Music performance was by Gemma Louise Doyle who brought the house down with her angelical voice.
Funds were raised through the many donated raffle prizes and also through the auction of some beautiful pantings and pictures.
A number of ladies also took part in a live 60 second plank for charity which was sponsored by CEO of LinkUp UK Mr Bims Aaron Akingbade.
The evening ended with lots of music and dancing with DJ Mind D Gap.
